Use pictures to clarify the question on the one hand. For example, an image from a text excerpt, or an illustration of tables, formulas or diagrams can support this. Try starting the quiz with a few simple questions with more than one correct answer to give players security and time to warm up. As the game progresses, the level of difficulty of the quiz increases and the students have to deal with questions and answer options in a shorter time. You can also try to round off the quiz with a few simple questions in between to maintain the competitive spirit.
Sorting the questions by difficulty level is just one of many options. Divide the quiz into subtopics, for example, create questions that build on one another. It is up to you and your creativity.
Also, use the “Randomize order of answers in each question” option in the settings before starting a game to prevent students from only remembering the position of the correct answer if the quiz is repeatable.
GHOST MODE – Challenge Yourself
The feature GHOST MODE extends Kahoot! around an important component: repetitive learning. If a Kahoot game is over, you will see a “Play again” button, which also contains a ghost symbol.
