I’ve been designing, developing, and researching education technology for over 15 years, particularly working on video games for learning and playful, creative technologies. I’m a strong believer in the power of play, social learning, and student-centered pedagogy.
I have a B.A. in Computer Science from Brown University and an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I co-wrote the book Resonant Games, and I also teach a graduate course on ed tech design at Harvard. I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts and I try to find whimsy wherever I can, from making knitted stuffed animals to creating puzzle hunt games for my kids.
